Job Description:

This professional position is responsible to help plan, implement, and support the technical infrastructure within the organization. The Information Technology Supervisor of Infrastructure will apply proven communications skills, problem solving skills, project and staff management skills, and knowledge of best practices to guide his/her team on the issues related to the design, acquisition or development, and deployment of mission critical information and software systems.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Supervises and engages in the day-to-day operations of the infrastructure staff.
  2. Support all enhancements and on-going maintenance of existing technologies.
  3. Plan, build, implement, and maintain custom software solutions, as well as integration solutions that support the key vendor purchased applications that support care management and claims processing functional areas of the organization.
  4. Collaborate with business areas and others within IT to effectively translate business, information, and application needs into technology-based solutions.
  5. Manage technology vendor relationships to balance cost and quality of services.
  6. Ensure that infrastructure issues are assigned, investigated, resolved, or escalated.
  7. Embrace the use of methodologies and standards to ensure operational systems are efficiently utilized.
  8. Provide leadership, mentor, and motivate direct reports.
  9. Exhibit strong customer service orientation towards all iCare staff.
  10. Keep abreast of new technological and/or procedural developments and present options for improvement to management in a logical format.
  11. Ensures documentation of all applicable policies, procedures and processes.

Experience and Skills:

  1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  2. Experience in a supervisory or technology lead role
  3. Ability to prioritize work across multiple projects and multiple functional units
  4. Demonstrated ability to learn new technology and apply it appropriately to the business areas
  5. Ability to clearly communicate complex technical issue to technical and non-technical people
  6. Strong organizational and documentation skills
