Job Description:

This position is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level, while providing direct support to the Business Unit(s). This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: benefits administration, training, performance management, onboarding support, policy implementation, recruitment/employment support, and ensure affirmative action and employment law compliance.

1. Supports the recruitment and onboarding process, including the following: posting of open positions, facilitations of pre-employment background screenings, reviewing of resumes and performing initial telephone interviews and assistance with on-boarding

2. Assists with filing of annual EEO-1 report; administers other records, reports and logs to conform to EEO Regulations

3. Facilitate onboarding and conducts new employee orientations

4. Maintains and updates HRIS records

5. Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment

6. Assist with HR and corporate training initiatives as needed.

7. Facilitates employee separation process and exit interviews.

8. Maintains and coordinates the employee recognition program

9. Provides back-up to payroll processing as needed.

10. Provides input to and administers all human resource policies, procedures and programs

11. Complete employment verifications and unemployment requests.

12. Assist with benefit program administration, including claims resolution, change reporting, approving invoices for payment and communicating benefits information to employees

13. Assist with other HR related projects to successful completion

Experience and Skills:

  1. A Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management.

  1. Sound judgment and problem-solving skills

  1. Customer-focused attitude, with high level of professionalism and discretion

  1. Familiarity with MS Office suite

  1. Excellent communication skills
