Job Description:

This position coordinates marketing communications and marketing campaign development. Support other team members in the aim of effectively encouraging prospective members to engage and ultimately enroll in an iCare plan. Ensures that communication strategies present iCare in a professional fashion, support growth, and deliver an optimal customer experience.

1. Responsible for print coordination of pre-enrollment, post-enrollment and other marketing materials:

  • Works with external vendors to gather competitive bids and ensure timely and cost-effective production and fulfillment.
  • Coordinates internal review by subject matter experts.
  • Responsible for proofreading, to prevent typographical errors or violation of brand standards.
  • Responsible for reviewing proofs and keeping production on schedule.
  • Coordinates the processing of purchase orders to ensure costs are tracked and controlled.
  • Materials may include brochures, catalogs, model documents, letters, post cards, signage, newsletters/e-newsletters and flyers.

2. Responsible for coordination and ongoing maintenance of existing programs to ensure the program continues to deliver results aligned with its objectives.

  • Examples of programs may include ongoing reports, retention initiatives, enhanced benefits management and recurring mailings.
  • May involve working with internal subject matter experts as well as external vendors, partners or providers.
  • May involve coordination of new programs following start-up phase.

3. Responsible for event logistics.

  • Registering for events.
  • Ordering and managing inventory of promo items, tablecloths, signage and other event materials.
  • Working with event sponsors to negotiate fees, arrange for payment and ensure iCare receives all agreed upon exposure in return for its sponsorship fees.
  • Responsible for shipping of items to remote events, the return of unused items and damage inspection, and proper storage.
  • Ensuring that leads are collected and distributed to Sales in a timely fashion.
  • Coordinates the scheduling of iCare staff representing iCare at events.

4. Coordinates translation and production of translated documents.

  • May involve numerous languages and/or conversion to Braille or large-print formats.
  • May involve large, small or individual printing and fulfillment to the appropriate member(s).

5. Assists with digital marketing including web site content and maintenance, social media marketing, digital/mobile advertising and Search Engine Optimization.

6. Maintains an organized, accessible and adequately stocked marketing materials inventory within iCare’s headquarters, satellite offices, and vehicles. Tracks quantities stored at 3rd party vendors and ensures adequate supplies.

7. Other duties as assigned.

Experience and Skills:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in journalism, advertising, communications, or marketing.
  2. Two to four years of experience in advertising, marketing, printing or public relations. Health care, health insurance or government programs experience preferred.
  3. Proficient in MS Office Suite. Experience in Adobe Creative Suite and MS Office suite.
  4. Direct marketing, digital marketing and web content management system experience preferred.
  5. Strong attention to detail.
  6. Ability to manage a variety of assignments simultaneously in a fast-paced, agile organization.
  7. Quick learner with ability to work under deadline pressure.
